Loreto Aroca y yo hemos tenido el privilegio de ser invitados a tierras alemanas, más concretamente al festival de Siegen, localidad de Renania del Norte-Westfalia.

Allí presentamos “La Bibliotecaria de Auschwitz” en el contexto del festival literario VielSeitig en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la localidad. Además, tuvimos ocasión de debatir sobre el libro en el contexto de la Universität Siegen, “Encuentros Literarios de Siegen: Lectura y Discusión, “on La bibliotecaria de Auschwitz, hosted by Yasmin Temelli and Emiliano Garzilazo” y se programó otro encuentro en el contexto de una serie de conferencias sobre memorias de la Shoah y el Holocausto en los cómics y libros infantiles, presentado por Jana Mikota y Jens Aspelmeier.

Igualmente, y en el marco de otras promociones, he sido invitado a eventos como la “Journée d’étude « Guerres et violences d’État dans la narration graphique », donde tuve ocasión de hablar de “El Fotógrafo de Mauthausen”. También fui invitado al la decimocuarta edición del festival “Carmona en Viñetas” y a la recepción con motivo del Natalicio de Su Majestad el Emperador de Japón en el Consulado General del Japón en Barcelona con motivo de nuestro Japan International Manga Award.

Loreto Aroca and I had the privilege of being invited to Germany, more specifically to the festival in Siegen, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia.

There we presented “The Librarian of Auschwitz” in the context of the VielSeitig literary festival at the local Museum of Contemporary Art. We also had the opportunity to discuss the book in the context of the University of Siegen, “Literary Encounters of Siegen: Reading and Discussion, “on The Librarian of Auschwitz, hosted by Yasmin Temelli and Emiliano Garzilazo” and another meeting was scheduled in the context of a series of conferences on memories of the Shoah and the Holocaust in comics and children’s books, presented by Jana Mikota and Jens Aspelmeier.

Similarly, and within the framework of other promotions, I have been invited to events such as the “Journée d’étude ‘Guerres et violences d’État dans la narration graphique'”, where I had the opportunity to talk about “The Photographer of Mauthausen”.

I was also invited to the fourteenth edition of the “Carmona en Viñetas” festival and to the reception on the occasion of the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan at the Consulate General of Japan in Barcelona on the occasion of our Japan International Manga Award.
